Booking Information

"History is not expensive....it's PRICELESS!" Deks has always believed that helping people to enjoy these presentations is more important than the cost. That is the trick then, to balance earning enough to support the family while not making it difficult for children of all ages to get these programs. The very reasonable fees below therefore reflect this desire.

Restrictions on size:

NONE (However, due to the interactive way that Deks works with his audience, a group size of 10-40 is recommended)

Location:

Any programs can be given either inside or outside. Auditorium, classroom, hotel meeting room or outside field - makes no difference. As to distance, Deks will travel as far as needed to deliver your program. Any program which is given up to 50 miles away from Cincinnati, Ohio is without a travel charge - over that distance and a fee of .40 per mile will be added of the excess.

Session Length and Cost:

Program sessions can be as short or as long as you desire (up to 1 hour thirty minutes). A suggested time is about 45 minutes - 1 hour.

  • One session (any one topic) - $200
  • Two sessions (any one topic/same day) - $300
  • Two sessions (any two topics/same day) - $350
  • One day of sessions (any one topic up to 6 hours) - $400
  • Camping overnight at your facility and then up to 6 hours the following day (any one topic) - $600

To Book a Program:

After you have chosen the theme of the talk you wish to book, simply contact Deks either via phone or by e-Mail.

Please have have the following information ready:

  • School or Organization Name:
  • Program topic requested:
  • Date(s) and number of programs requested (please give two dates, in case your first choice is already booked):
  • How many people do you anticipate attending the program(s)?:
  • Any special needs (hearing disabled, outdoor presentations, audio-visual recording, etc.):

Deks will then contact you back within 24 hours to go over your program and any special needs/requests you may have. The number of participants along with the location of the program session will determine whether any special requirements such as tables to display artifacts, a podium or microphones are needed. We want to make this a very special performance for your school or organization. If you have have any ideas on how to make the performance more enjoyable for your group, it would be most welcome.
